Duties Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive Operate grounds maintenance blowers Support plant identification efforts to ensure proper care and pest management of diverse flora Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries Conduct routine inspections of landscaped areas to identify issues requiring attention or repair Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or seasonal planting to maintain year-round landscape appeal Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or familiarity with grounds maintenance is preferred Basic mechanical knowledge and experience operating landscaping equipment and hand tools Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices, horticulture, and plant identification Knowledge of pesticide management, irrigation systems, power tools, and safety procedures related to outdoor work Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of safety and professionalism Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Valid driver's license may be preferred for equipment operation or transportation needs This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to gain practical experience in landscaping while contributing to beautiful outdoor spaces.
