This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing a variety of landscape and groundskeeping skills to ensure the pristine appearance and health of golf course or other landscaped areas. You'll be an essential part of a dedicated team committed to excellence in grounds management, applying your expertise with tools, equipment, and horticultural practices to create inviting environments for communities and visitors alike. Responsibilities Perform regular landscape maintenance including mowing, edging, trimming, and planting to uphold aesthetic standards. Operate ground maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, power trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently. Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of materials like soil, mulch, or turf rolls to support landscaping projects. Use hand tools and power tools with a focus on safety protocols; perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure longevity and performance. Qualifications Prior experience in landscape maintenance, athletic field groundskeeping, or golf course groundskeeping is highly desirable. Knowledge of horticulture principles including lawn care, gardening techniques, and plant health management. Proficiency with irrigation systems, power tools, hand tools, and groundskeeping equipment operation. Ability to perform manual tasks requiring heavy lifting and physical stamina; comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for maintaining records of maintenance activities. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles or similar equipment preferred.
