Job Description
Chandler Crossings has a great full time opportunity for a skilled, dedicated Groundskeeper/Porter for our student housing communities located in East Lansing Responsibilities include:
- Groundskeeping of community common areas
- ensuring the property is always free of trash and debris inside and out.
- Ensuring all trash cans are emptied and new trash bags inserted
- Assisting with Spring and Fall Clean Up
- Helping trash out units if needed
- spraying weeds in the pavement
- pulling weeds from the flower beds
- trimming bushes, branches, and shrubs
- Plant Flowers and Install Mulch
Occasional Maintenance, Painting, Etc Qualifications:
MUST HAVE PREVIOUS MAINTENANCE OR GROUNDSKEEPING EXPERIENCE
- Skilled in grounds work, common area maintenance, painting
- Highly motivated
- self starter
- not needing constant supervision
- Must have reliable transportation, truck preferred
- however property has dedicated golf cart for your use
- Must live within a 30 minute drive of East Lansing
- discounted housing provided onsite if needed
- A clear driving record, clear drug and physical check and clear criminal background check.
