8 hours: Grounds•Primarily 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Hours may vary to cover High School events (football games, etc.) Custodial•Primarily 2:30/3:30 PM to 11:00 PM/12:00 AM. Site of work will vary nightly according to needs of the district. Need may change daily.

B21 according to the Custodian Work Agreement with a range of $20.51•22.42 per hour.

Maintenance Qualifications:

Grounds and/or custodial experience preferred. Requires the ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time; push/pull while lifting up to 50 pounds; ability to communicate in a positive manner with the general public and building staff. Must have, or have the ability to obtain a boilers license with in 6 months

Summary of Grounds and Custodial Duties:

Grounds maintenance Operation of equipment such as toolcat, field drags, lawnmowers, field liners, and weed whips Care of equipment, including cleaning, maintaining, grease, sharpen blades, etc. Set up and take down equipment at schools Landscaping and maintain playground equipment Mowing and trimming Line fields, maintain fields and parking lots Remove or trim trees Run and maintain irrigation systems Fertilize fields/spray for weed control Clean up grounds Hours may vary according to work All other duties as assigned Summary of Custodial Duties Knowledge and experience in modern cleaning procedures and practices including floor care, restroom cleanliness, and other general areas.
