Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves performing a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping tasks to ensure the safety, health, and aesthetic appeal of commercial or residential properties. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, utilizing your skills and knowledge to support landscape maintenance projects that delight clients and enhance the environment. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance activities including mowing, trimming, planting, and watering to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, power tools, irrigation systems, and snow plows with safety and precision Perform landscape installation tasks including hardscape construction, planting trees and shrubs, and installing irrigation systems Identify various plants, trees, and pests to support horticultural health and pest management efforts Follow safety protocols diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment Conduct routine inspections of landscapes to identify issues requiring pruning, trimming, or repair Support seasonal tasks such as snow plowing or additional grounds upkeep as needed Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or background in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, irrigation systems, and landscaping equipment Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture practices, and pesticide management is a plus Ability to handle hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and working in diverse weather conditions Willingness to learn new skills related to groundskeeping and landscape maintenance Join us if you're passionate about transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful environments!
