Resort Grounds Worker Temporary Full-Time

Job Description

Omni Mount Washington, LLC dba Omni Mount Washington Resort headquartered at 310 MountWashington Hotel Road, Bretton Woods, NH 03575; phone number: 603-278-4440, is seeking tofill Resort Grounds Worker positions from 05/1/2026 - 02/28/2027. This is for full-time,peak load, temporary employment.
Duties include:
Work on resort maintaining the grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers must be able to perform a variety oftasks without close supervision, which may include any combination of the following: mow, trim,dig, water, mulch, rake, and snow shoveling. Workers will also collect and remove litter/debrisand provide upkeep to building and resort grounds.
Special Requirements:
No prior experience or education is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Workers are subject to drug testing uponreasonable suspicion, paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H2B. Workers are subject to pre-employment criminal background checks, paid by employer andapplied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Must be able to work a 5-day schedule,including weekends and holidays. Applicants must complete an employment application.

Employer will provide on-the-job training. Conversational English Required.

The pay is from $19.96 to $20.00 per hour with overtime available at $29.94 to $30.00 per hour,based on hourly rate. Employer may increase wage based on experience, performance, tenure,and/or market conditions. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, orlocal law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. The work schedule is as follows : 35 hours per week from Saturday to
Friday:
Various 8-hours shifts (ranging from 7am to3pm, 12pm to 8pm, 3pm to 11pm, 4pm to 12am, 5pm to 1am, or 9pm to 5am). Workdays and shifttimes may vary with occupancy and events. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. Therequested temporary workers will be based at 310 Mount Washington Hotel Road, Bretton Woods,NH 03575. The Employer will provide, at no cost to the worker, transportation between thedesignated off-site housing and the worksite for workers who choose to reside in the employerprovided housing.

Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is Weekly. Employers willmake all deductions from workers' paychecks, which are required by law. Optional employeeshared offsite housing available, including utilities and deposit, at a rate of approximately $125.00- $165.00 per week, depending on the housing unit. Weekly rates include a $10/week securitydeposit that participants get back if the room is left in good condition upon departure. Subject tohousing damage, deposit refunded within 1-month of move out. Cost of housing & deposit payrolldeducted if worker elects. Uniform provided at no cost to employee. If employee elects to live inemployer-based housing, use of the employee cafeteria is included for all meals at no cost.

Transportation, including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employmentwill be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payrollcheck, if the worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of thework contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistencefrom the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or whereOmni Mount Washington, LLC dba Omni Mount Washington ResortH-2B Application H-400-26044-640859the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs ofreturn transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departedto work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with anotheremployer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the mosteconomically and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will beprovided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.

Reimbursement in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and otherrelated fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but notincluded passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employerwill provide worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the joband on the job training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offerwork for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the totalemployment period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor.
