In this energetic position, you will be responsible for supporting landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, and planting projects. Your hands-on work will help transform outdoor environments, ensuring they are healthy, safe, and visually appealing. Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery. Perform routine groundskeeping tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming trees, pruning plants, and edging beds. Operate various grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment including power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems. Identify different plant species and assist with plant health assessments; manage pest control measures following safety protocols. Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents or injuries. Conduct general site cleanup and prepare landscapes for seasonal changes or special events. Assist with hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, fire pits and retaining walls. Requirements Prior outdoor work experience or familiarity with groundskeeping tasks preferred but not required; training provided. Mechanical knowledge or experience operating landscaping equipment is a plus. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year. Strong attention to safety procedures when handling hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
