Box 642 , Nutley, NJ 07110 (973) 667-6655 Landscape Laborer. 5 temp/FT positions from 10/1/26-12/31/26. Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand/power tools or equipment such as mowers, edgers and blowers. Activities may include any combination of the following: digging, planting, cultivating, raking, mulching, trimming, weeding, mowing, pruning, seeding, sod laying and spraying. Load/unload/move trees, shrubs, and landscape materials; remove debris; maintain and clean equipment/tools when not in use. Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. SAT and SUN work required, when necessary. OTJ training will be provided to the wrkr. Emplr pays in advance or reimburses Wrkrs in the first workweek for all government-mandated and visa-related fees (EXCL passport fees). For non-local Wrkrs (i.e., residing outside normal commuting distance), Emplr reimburses inbound travel costs @ the 50% point in the contract (unless paid in advance). Inbound travel includes transport costs from wrkrs perm residence or place of recruitment, a daily meal subsistence (based on rates required by law, currently $16.78 per day MIN without receipts; and with receipts, $68.00 per day MAX for meals w/$110.00 per day MAX for lodging), and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable. Travel reimbursements based on least-cost common carrier rate. Emplr provides or pays outbound travel costs upon completion of the contract period or early dismissal, except where the worker has subsequent employment. Emplr guarantees to offer hrs equal to @ least 3/4 of the workdays in each 6-week period of the total contract period, beginning w/the workers first workday and ending on the contract end date or any extension thereof. Emplr may count all hrs worked, as well as any hrs offered within the standard work sched that a worker chooses to not work, up to the max number of daily hrs on the job order. Wrkrs who voluntarily abandon emplmt are not entitled to pmt for outbound travel costs or the full 3/4 period guarantee described above. Emplr provides w/out charge all tools, supplies and equipment (incl. uniforms, if applicable) necessary to perform duties assigned.

JOB LOCATION

24 Roosevelt Avenue Belleville, NJ 07109 and multiple worksites w/in Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Passaic counties. Emplr provides incidental transport between job sites. No daily transport to/from workers' home and primary worksite. Such transport complies w/all applicable Federal/State/local laws/regulations.

WAGE INFO

Wage rate is no less than $21.91/hr. OT hrs vary @ $32.87/hr. Raises/bonuses may be offered @ emplyr's discretion, based on individual factors such as performance, skill, and tenure. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. The payroll period is weekly. Wrkrs are paid by check on FRI. Standard work sched is 7:00AM-3:30PM, MON-FRI. Emplr will offer 40 hrs per week. Emplr may offer more than the stated work hrs, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat/cold/rain/drought may affect exact working hrs. Emplr makes all payroll deducts required by law. Emplr does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deducts.
