Responsibilities Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and installing hardscape features such as patios and walkways Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, pruning, and trimming trees and bushes Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping activities Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas Use equipment like excavators and snow plows when necessary for site preparation or seasonal cleanup Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed Collaborate with team members on project planning and execution to meet deadlines efficiently Experience Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment is advantageous Basic understanding of horticulture principles, lawn care practices, and landscape maintenance techniques Experience with tree care activities such as trimming and pruning is a plus Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Knowledge of construction or hardscape installation processes is beneficial but not mandatory Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills
