• Job Summary
• We are seeking a Seasonal Parks Employee/Groundskeeper to join our team during the peak seasons of Summer and Fall. As a Seasonal Employee, you will be responsible for mowing, weed whacking, field lining and maintenance, refuse removal and facilities maintenance.
• Duties
• Maintain parks appearance by landscaping the parks, cleaning the comfort stations and performing other tasks as needed
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and the public and work well in a fast-paced environment
• Use organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet daily goals
• Perform tasks that promote a positive park visit experience
• Work collaboratively with the parks team to meet facility needs
• Perform other duties as assigned by Parks Foreman

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

• Ability to work in a team environment Qualifications Experience in athletic field and golf course groundskeeping, landscape maintenance, and general grounds maintenance a plus Proficient with hand tools and manual handling; skilled in using groundskeeping and landscaping equipment Knowledge of lawn care and/or custodial Ability to perform heavy lifting, outdoor debris removal, and task prioritization; strong communication and organizational skills Valid experience in property maintenance and outdoor infrastructure upkeep; adherence to safety and clean workspace standards
