In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, managing landscaping tasks, and supporting the overall upkeep of the campground facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine landscaping duties including lawn care, gardening, and to keep the campground attractive and well-maintained Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, power tools, chainsaws, irrigation systems, and other landscaping machinery safely and efficiently Be comfortable and have experience in basic electrical, plumbing and other campground related tasks Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling of equipment, and ground clearing to support ongoing maintenance projects Perform equipment maintenance and basic repairs to ensure all tools and machinery are in optimal condition Support general groundskeeping activities such as planting, pruning, weed control, and landscape enhancement projects Requirements Prior experience with landscape maintenance, gardening is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, chainsaws, and grounds maintenance equipment operation Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting, manual handling, bending, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Familiarity with pesticide management practices and safety procedures is a plus Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles or similar equipment preferred Strong attention to safety standards such as power tool safety protocols and equipment maintenance procedures Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards groundskeeping and landscaping responsibilities This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about outdoor work who want to contribute to creating a beautiful environment for visitors.
