Trinity Community of Beavercreek, a full-service senior living community located just 2 miles east of The Greene Shopping Center, is searching for a FT Landscaper to work Monday - Friday. Some on-call responsibility required.
Job Responsibilities :
Lawn Care & Maintenance:
Mow, edge, and fertilize turf. Control weeds and prune overgrown limbs on trees and shrubs.
Planting & Design:
Install new flowers, bushes, and trees according to landscaping plans and client preferences.
Property Cleanup:
Remove fallen leaves, trash, and bulk debris from pedestrian areas, garden beds, and walkways.
Equipment Operations:
Safely operate, clean, and perform basic preventive maintenance on landscaping power tools.
Irrigation & Hardscaping:
Assist with the installation, auditing, and basic repair of sprinkler or drip systems.
Job Requirements :

Physical Stamina:
Ability to repeatedly lift and move 50+ pounds, and perform sustained physical labor outdoors in variable weather conditions. [1, 2]
Experience:
Typically 1 to 2 years of professional experience in landscaping, hardscaping, or groundskeeping. [1, 2]
Equipment Knowledge:
Comfortable operating, fueling, and maintaining commercial-grade mowers, trimmers, blowers, and saws. [1]
Clean Driving Record:
A valid driver's license with a clean driving abstract is often required to operate company trucks and tow trailers. [1, 2]
Detail-Oriented:
Ability to follow detailed landscape designs and instructions from crew supervisors. Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Technical certificates in mechanical, electrical, carpentry or HVAC highly preferred. Must possess at least six (6) months or more of related experience in the maintenance field. A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required. Must be available for on-call duty. Ability to work with elderly residents, families, other health care staff members and outside vendors required.
