In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing residential and commercial landscapes through hands-on work, technical skills, and a passion for horticulture. Duties Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to keep lawns lush and healthy Conduct landscape maintenance such as pruning, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, and installing mulch or soil amendments Operate hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers, chainsaws) safely and efficiently to complete daily tasks Utilize equipment like excavators for site preparation or hardscape installation projects such as patios or walkways Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, or installing sprinkler heads and controllers to ensure proper watering schedules Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients Support landscaping projects by installing hardscape features like retaining walls or pathways while adhering to safety standards Experience Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is highly preferred Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care techniques Mechanical knowledge related to operating landscaping equipment and power tools Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques Experience with construction or hardscape installation projects is a plus Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to follow safety protocols diligently Join us in transforming outdoor spaces into vibrant retreats!
