This energetic position involves performing a variety of groundskeeping, landscaping, and maintenance tasks to ensure landscapes are healthy, safe, and visually appealing. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, utilizing your skills in landscape maintenance, plant care, and equipment operation to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth and aesthetics. Operate groundskeeping equipment such as lawn mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and excavators safely and efficiently. Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and pest management. Support installation of hardscape features like pathways, retaining walls, and patios while adhering to safety protocols. Manage irrigation systems for optimal water distribution and troubleshoot issues as needed. Perform snow plowing and winter maintenance tasks during inclement weather to keep outdoor areas accessible and safe. Follow safety procedures diligently during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and injuries. Experience Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, planting, pruning, and pest management is advantageous. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and groundskeeping equipment operation is highly desirable. Basic understanding of horticulture principles such as plant identification and soil care will support your success in this role. Experience with irrigation systems, tree care (including trimming), hardscape installation, or construction projects is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks is essential.
