Job Description
Edinboro Lake Resort is seeking full-time and/or part-time property maintenance person. This would include Cabin Rentals, The Sunset Grill, and Boat Rentals (Mainly working outside on and near Edinboro Lake). This would be an ideal position for someone who is looking for flexible hours in the spring, summer and fall. Working outside at your own pace with some daily routine lists as well as some unique projects as needed. Someone who is handy, can think on their feet and is willing to learn. This might work for a retired person who needs something to do or a teacher who is off in the summer time but still has some limited available time in the spring and fall? Also, a college student who is in the hospitality industry and looking to learn while earning some money as well. We are flexible so please reach out with any questions!
Details:
Competitive pay- above average wages depending on experience with room to grow. Some of the maintenance of property include: Cabin repair
- this includes any season start up repairs needed as well as weekly lists from housekeeping that need to be addressed. Grounds keeping
- this includes pulling weeds, watering plants and lawns, raking and sweeping, and tidying up any other place out. Cleaning
- this includes maintaining cleanliness in shared community locations like grill areas, fire pits, kayaks. Pontoon boats, tables, benches and other amenities on property. Customer service
- this includes prompt and courteous responses if Maintenance is needed while a unit is occupied.
Pontoon / Kayak
Rentals- this includes launching of Pontoon Boats renting kayaks and refueling/cleaning between rentals. Interaction with guests is required. Other
- this includes other projects and maintenance that occur on a daily / weekly basis and other things that may come up while guests are on property that need addressed promptly. Ideally looking for one part time and one full time person. 2-3 days part time. 4-5 days full time. NOW
- DEC 2026 with options for 2027:)! 9:30am-5:30pm (more hours in the summer, less in the spring and fall typically)
- Hours may vary but this would be an ideal work time
- Even if we found 2 canidates and could come up with a custom schedule that would work, as long as we have coverage during those hours (ex: 9:30-1:30 shift and 1:30-5:30 shift, even some overlap if needed/wanted)
STARTING AT
$15/ hour and UP! 15-40 hours per week available! To sum it up we need someone on property most days to rent boats, make everything look neat, clean and organized and help out with, Sunset Grill, Housekeeping, and Font Desk / Customer Service as needed. Some painting and landscaping / cleaning boats as well.SATURDAY AND / OR SUNDAYS NEEDED.
