full-time The Borough of Indiana is seeking a Parks Support Employee to join its team. This position plays an important role in maintaining the Borough's parks, public spaces, and properties for residents and visitors to enjoy.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid PA driver's license with an insurable driving record. Ability to operate and maintain a variety of motorized and hand-operated equipment. Ability to perform physical work, including landscaping, property maintenance, and general repairs. Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures. Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repairs of Borough parks, properties, and facilities. Assist with landscaping, tree maintenance, mowing, and grounds care. Operate trucks, snowplows, tractors, mowers, chainsaws, heavy equipment, and other tools and equipment. Complete assigned work under the direction of the Parks Department Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Details:

Full-time, union position

Rate of Pay:

$21.15 per hour (maximum base rate)

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., or as scheduled by
