Landscape Maintenance Technician Xavier Landscapes and Designs is hiring a full-time Landscape Maintenance Technician to join our commercial landscape maintenance team. We are looking for someone who is dependable, takes pride in their work, enjoys working outdoors, and wants the opportunity to develop their skills in the professional landscape industry.

Pay:

$18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience and capabilities

Full-Time during the landscape maintenance season

On-call snow and ice management opportunities Position Responsibilities As a Landscape Maintenance Technician, you will work as part of a professional crew maintaining commercial properties throughout the Pocono region.

Typical responsibilities include:

Commercial mowing and turf maintenance Operating commercial stand-on mowers String trimming, edging, and blowing Landscape bed maintenance and weed control Shrub and ornamental pruning Mulching Spring and fall cleanups General landscape maintenance Safe operation and care of commercial landscape equipment Maintaining clean, professional-looking commercial properties Assisting with snow and ice management operations during the winter season Qualifications Previous professional landscape maintenance experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

Equipment Experience Experience with any of the following is a plus: Commercial stand-on mowers String trimmers Backpack blowers Hedge trimmers Skid steers Compact loaders Pickup trucks with snowplows Salt spreaders Sidewalk snow removal equipment Full-size loaders Snow & Ice Management During the winter season, employees have the opportunity to participate in our on-call snow and ice management operations . Snow operations are weather-dependent and may require availability during overnight hours, early mornings, weekends, and holidays . Previous experience with snowplowing, salting, skid steers, loaders, or sidewalk snow removal is a plus but is not required. Compensation $18.00-$20.00 per hour based on experience, skills, and equipment capabilities. Candidates with professional landscape maintenance experience, commercial equipment experience, or snow and ice management experience may qualify for higher starting compensation within the posted range.
