This is a paid, project-based 1099 contractor role . It is not an hourly, salaried, or W-2 employee position. We are looking for established contractors, owner-operators, and crews that already have landscaping, lawn-care, property-maintenance, hardscape, irrigation, tree-service, cleanup, or related outdoor-service experience. Applicants should be able to complete accepted work using their own transportation, tools, equipment, and labor. Pay Pay is project-based and determined before each accepted job. Typical smaller maintenance, cleanup, lawn-care, and property-service projects may range from: $200 to $1,500 per completed project Larger projects may pay more depending on: Scope of work Materials Service type Crew requirements Equipment requirements Location Agreed project terms There is no guaranteed number of projects or guaranteed weekly income. Schedule This is flexible, project-based subcontractor work.

Work may include:

Weekday projects Weekend projects when needed Recurring maintenance One-time customer jobs Seasonal cleanups Snow and ice work during winter Contractors are not required to accept every project offered. What You'll Do Depending on your experience and equipment, customer work may include: Lawn mowing Edging and trimming Blower cleanup Spring cleanups Fall cleanups Leaf removal Mulch installation Garden-bed maintenance Shrub and hedge trimming Ornamental pruning Plant installation Sod installation Lawn restoration Small tree and branch work Outdoor debris removal Junk and property cleanup Gutter cleaning Drainage Grading Irrigation Paver patios Walkways Retaining walls Residential grounds maintenance Commercial property maintenance Snow plowing Salting Ice management Applicants are not expected to perform every service listed. Responsibilities Selected contractors are responsible for: Completing accepted work safely and professionally Providing their own labor Providing their own transportation Supplying appropriate tools and equipment Arriving as scheduled Following the agreed project scope Communicating professionally Providing work photos when requested Reporting scope changes before completing additional work Maintaining required insurance Providing required contractor documents Leaving customer properties clean after completion Contractor Requirements Applicants should: Currently operate a landscaping, lawn-care, property-maintenance, hardscape, irrigation, tree-service, snow-removal, or related outdoor-service business Be an owner, operator, or authorized company representative Have relevant field experience Have reliable transportation Have appropriate tools and equipment Be able to provide a completed W-9 Carry business general liability insurance or be able to obtain the required coverage before activation Have capacity for additional project-based customer work Communicate professionally and reliably Service Area This opening focuses on Providence and nearby Rhode Island communities, including: Providence East Providence North Providence Pawtucket Cranston Johnston Smithfield Lincoln Cumberland Central Falls Barrington Seekonk-area border communities Nearby Providence County communities Applicants will be asked to identify the cities, ZIP codes, and travel radius they can reliably service.
