Job Description

Primary Purpose:

The majority of the work includes maintaining safe and attractive grounds including the athletic fields along with maintenance duties when asked.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Ability to communicate effectivelyAbility to operate all grounds equipment: mowers, weed eaters, tractors, etc.

Full-TimeResponsibilities and Duties include the following but are not limited to: Collect and dispose of all trash after each athletic gameMow and detail all district grounds, including athletic fieldsFollow scheduled maintenance plan to care for lawns, trees, shrubs, and flowers by watering, pruning, fertilizing, mulching, caring for beds, and controlling weedsPlant shrubs and vegetationIf needed assist with the preparation of athletic fields for games, including chalkingCollect and dispose of leaves, dirt, rubbish, and refuse from district facilitiesAssist with the operation of the irrigation systems
