Tree Climber/Groundsperson Hurst, TX 76053 $300 a day - Contract $300 a day - Contract Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Tree Climber/Groundsperson to join our professional arboriculture team. This role involves working at heights to prune, remove, and maintain trees, as well as supporting ground operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care, landscape maintenance, and horticulture, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Duties Safely climb trees using appropriate rigging techniques to perform pruning, trimming, or removal tasks Assist with rigging and dismantling of large or hazardous trees using proper safety protocols Support ground crew in tasks such as lawn care, landscape maintenance, and general yard cleanup Maintain and inspect equipment including chainsaws, ropes, harnesses, and bucket trucks Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry best practices Assist in planting new trees and supporting horticultural projects as needed Experience Prior experience in tree care, tree trimming, or landscaping is highly desirable Knowledge of rigging techniques is preferred Growing experience in horticulture or landscape maintenance is a plus Hands-on experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or arboriculture enhances suitability for this role Demonstrated commitment to safety procedures in outdoor or industrial environments This position is on an as needed basis, and candidate will need to bring their own climbing equipment. Candidates should be physically capable of working at heights and in outdoor conditions while adhering to all safety guidelines.
