Duties Assist with landscape enhancement projects, including planting, hardscape installation, and soil preparation Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as mowers, trimmers, power tools, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently Maintain landscaped areas through mowing, pruning, edging, and watering to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal Identify plants, pests, and diseases to support plant health and proper pest management practices Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor activities and equipment operation Support irrigation system installation, repair, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal watering schedules Help with general groundskeeping tasks such as debris removal, ground leveling, and site cleanup Qualifications Prior outdoor work experience or background in grounds maintenance or landscaping preferred Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and power tools required for safe operation Familiarity with plant identification, horticulture principles, and pesticide management is a plus Ability to follow safety procedures diligently while working with various tools and machinery Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail in maintaining the quality and appearance of landscaped areas This position is an excellent fit for motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in landscaping while making a tangible impact on outdoor environments.
