Job Description

Job Summary Join our landscaping team as a Landscape Crew Member with a valid driver's license! In this role, you will be maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces through hands-on landscaping, grounds maintenance, and landscape enhancement projects. Your knowledge and outdoor work experience will ensureevery project is completed to the highest standards. Duties Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment, including mowers, power tools, irrigation systems, and hand tools to perform tasks such as mowing, planting, pruning, and hardscape installation Assist in landscape maintenance activities such as planting, fertilizing, pest management, and irrigation system troubleshooting and repair Drive company vehicles safely to transport crew members and equipment between job sites while adhering to all safety protocols Support healthy landscape growth and pest management strategies Conduct routine inspections of landscape areas Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a variety of grounds maintenance equipment is preferred Strong mechanical knowledge related to landscaping tools and equipment operation Prior outdoor work experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred Knowledge of pesticide management, and irrigation systems Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods Familiarity with safety protocols related to power tools, hand tools, and landscaping machinery Excellent teamwork skills The ability to speak Spanish is very helpful, however Translate apps are used as well.
Specifics:
In this role you will be responsible for the safety of the crew while operating the vehicle with a trailer. Using a stand-on mower, push mower, line trimmers, hedge trimmers, and sprayer. If you are interested in being a Team Leader, we would love to work with you! Team Leaders are provided the schedule each day and inform their crew, and help guide them along the route at each site, making sure to provide a walk-through at the end of each job, and send pictures back to the office staff for completion. Team Leaders have a higher expectation on them and are held accountable for the work performed at each site and the management of their crew, and are paid at a higher rate.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
