Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, planting, mulching, and edging to keep gardens vibrant and healthy Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools, trimmers, safely and efficiently Manage plant health by identifying pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies; apply appropriate plant pest control methods Maintain proper watering schedules for annual arrangements Assist with planting native plants and implementing sustainable gardening practices aligned with environmental standards Conduct regular grounds inspections to identify areas needing attention or repair Communicate effectively with clients or team members regarding landscape plans, maintenance schedules, or plant care recommendations Qualifications Proven experience with greenhouse operations and growing plants in various environments Strong knowledge of horticulture principles, landscape maintenance techniques, and gardening best practices Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and grounds equipment operation for landscaping tasks Ability to identify a wide range of plants including native species; familiarity with plant pest control methods is essential Physical ability to perform activities safely; comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent client communication skills to understand client preferences and provide professional advice on landscape care Join us as a Gardener to cultivate beautiful outdoor spaces while advancing your skills in horticulture, farming, landscaping, agriculture, and grounds maintenance.
