KOA is looking for a dependable and hard-working Yard Crew Member to join our campground team. As part of the yard crew, you'll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming outdoor environment for our campers. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a strong work ethic, and keeps the grounds in top condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general landscaping and groundskeeping tasks including mowing, trimming, leaf blowing, weeding, and etc. Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas, RV/tent sites, and campground roads Set up and take down equipment, picnic tables, and signage as needed Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting, and trash removal Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery safely (e.g., mowers, weed eaters, blowers) Support the campground team with special projects and event setup Provide friendly, courteous assistance to guests when needed.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 16 years old Previous groundskeeping or landscaping experience preferred. Ability to operate light machinery and power tools safely. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. Physically able to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions A positive attitude and willingness to be a team player Shifts may include weekends, holidays, mornings, evenings. Work days may vary.
