Located in University Place, Washington, this 18-hole, walking-only golf course provides an authentic links experience for players of every ability. Host site of the 2010 U.S. Amateur, 2015 U.S. Open, 2021 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championships and the 2022 U.S. Women's Amateur. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Green Keeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our golf course and landscapes, ensuring that all grounds are well-kept and visually appealing. This role requires a strong attention to detail, a passion for outdoor work, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively. Duties Responsible for maintenance of golf course putting greens, surrounds, tees, fairways, bunkers and dunes as assigned. Perform regular groundskeeping tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming lawns to maintain a pristine appearance. Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and servicing. Operates equipment associated with turf maintenance including mowing, sand topdressing, bunker raking, applications related turf and horticultural tasks. Assist with project work including irrigation, drainage, weeding, sod planting, etc. Collaborate with team members to ensure all landscaping projects are completed on time and to high standards. Experience Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with lawn care practices, including irrigation techniques and pest management strategies is beneficial. Ability to operate power tools (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers) and hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes) safely. A passion for gardening and landscaping with a keen eye for detail is essential. Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions is necessary. Requirements
Valid Washington Driver's License.
High School graduate or equivalent education required.
Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
