Lightyear Lawn Care is looking for an experienced Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our team serving residential properties throughout Hamilton County. The primary focus of this position is residential mowing route maintenance . We are looking for someone who already has experience professionally mowing lawns and can confidently operate zero-turn mowers, string trimmers, edgers, and blowers. The right person should be capable of working efficiently as part of a two-person crew and, depending on experience, potentially handling portions of a mowing route independently. Primary Responsibilities Professionally mow residential properties using commercial zero-turn and other mowing equipment Trim around homes, fences, landscape beds, trees, and other obstacles Edge sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and other hard surfaces Blow off driveways, sidewalks, patios, streets, and other hard surfaces Maintain consistent quality while completing an efficient daily mowing route Safely load, unload, operate, clean, and care for lawn equipment Identify equipment issues and assist with basic preventative maintenance Work independently or alongside another crew member depending on the route Assist with mulch installation, hedge trimming, cleanups, aeration/overseeding, and other lawn and landscape work as needed Help maintain clean and organized trucks, trailers, and equipment What We Are Looking For Previous professional mowing or lawn maintenance experience strongly preferred Experience operating commercial zero-turn mowers Ability to trim, edge, and blow efficiently with attention to detail Understanding of how to complete a residential mowing route efficiently without sacrificing quality Dependable, punctual, and able to work with limited supervision Comfortable working outdoors in heat and changing weather conditions Able to perform physically demanding work throughout the day Willing to care for equipment and report problems before they become larger issues Valid driver's license and truck/trailer experience are strongly preferred, especially for candidates interested in running routes independently Schedule Our primary mowing schedule is during the week. Occasional Saturday work may be necessary to make up routes delayed by rain or weather. This is a seasonal lawn care position. Work is busiest during the mowing season, with additional opportunities for landscaping, aeration/overseeding, leaf cleanups, and potentially winter services depending on workload and weather.
