In this energetic role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional lawn care and pest control services, ensuring customer satisfaction through expert application of pesticides, fertilizers, and other treatments. Duties Perform lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery. Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers following pesticide management guidelines and safety protocols to promote healthy turf and plant growth. Conduct pest control treatments targeting insects, rodents, and other pests using chemical agents safely while adhering to integrated pest management principles. Operate company vehicles and equipment responsibly to reach job sites efficiently across various outdoor locations. Use ladders safely to access hard-to-reach areas for pruning or treatment applications while following ladder safety procedures. Follow confined space entry safety procedures when necessary for specific landscape or pest control tasks. Maintain detailed records of chemical handling, pesticide application logs, and service reports for compliance and quality assurance. Communicate effectively with customers to explain services performed, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with the results. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols including respiratory protection when handling chemicals or working in environments with airborne hazards. Assist in the setup and maintenance of landscaping features or farm-related equipment as needed. Experience Previous outdoor work experience in lawn care, farming, landscaping, agriculture or related fields preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and pest control equipment is highly desirable. Knowledge of pesticide application techniques, pest control methods including chemical handling and entomology principles is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate company vehicles safely and perform routine maintenance on equipment. Understanding of safety protocols such as ladder use, ladder safety procedures, confined space entry safety procedures, respiratory protection standards and chemical handling regulations is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
