We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Foot Care Specialist to provide routine foot care services for older adults and other community members in a safe, professional, and client-centered environment. This role focuses on non-invasive foot care, infection prevention, client comfort, and health promotion while working within established competency and scope-of-practice guidelines. Key Responsibilities Foot Care Services Provide routine foot care services, including: Toenail trimming and filing (training provided for clippers and Dremel tools) Reduction of thickened nails within training and competency guidelines Basic foot hygiene Application of moisturizer Foot soaks Observation of skin and nail conditions and referral of concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals Infection Prevention & Safety Clean, disinfect, and maintain equipment according to infection prevention standards Follow universal precautions and organizational safety procedures Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary clinic environment Program Support Assist with clinic setup and teardown Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment Participate in required training, competency validation, and quality improvement activities Represent the organization professionally when interacting with clients, families, and community partners Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Demonstrated competency in routine foot care procedures Knowledge of infection prevention practices and universal precautions Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills Reliable, dependable, and professional Preferred Experience working with older adults Completion of a recognized Foot Care Specialist, Advanced Nail Technician, or Certified Foot Care training program Experience in home care, senior living, wellness programs, or community health settings Licensure & Certification RN, LPN or CNA licensure is not required.

Certified Foot Care Specialist (CFCS) Certification Medical Nail Technician Certification Previous foot care training and/or professional experience Physical Requirements Ability to sit, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods Ability to safely use hand tools and foot care equipment Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Adequate visual acuity to observe skin and nail conditions

Scope of Practice The Foot Care Specialist:

Does not diagnose medical conditions Does not perform nursing assessments Does not prescribe treatments Does not provide wound care beyond basic observation and referral Does not perform invasive procedures Refers clients with identified medical concerns to a physician, podiatrist, nurse practitioner, or other licensed healthcare professional Why Join Us?
