The Park Ranger is responsible for helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at municipal parks and recreational facilities. This position patrols multiple park locations, performs basic maintenance and custodial duties, assists park visitors, and reports safety or maintenance concerns. Essential Duties Patrol municipal parks and facilities to ensure compliance with park rules and regulations. Provide excellent customer service by assisting park visitors and answering questions. Perform custodial duties including cleaning restrooms, emptying trash receptacles, and maintaining park cleanliness. Inspect parks for safety hazards, vandalism, or maintenance issues and report concerns promptly. Assist with setting up and breaking down for park events and recreational activities. Travel between multiple park locations throughout the workday as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Ability to operate a municipal vehicle safely. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Strong communication and customer service skills. Requirements Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening. Must be reliable, dependable, and able to travel between multiple municipal parks during scheduled shifts. Weekend, evening, and holiday work may be required based on operational needs.

Pay:
