About the Role We're looking for our next Mosquito Man — a field technician dedicated to ridding yards, parks, and properties of mosquitoes and other biting pests. You'll be the person homeowners call when backyard BBQs turn into bug buffets. This role combines hands-on outdoor work, customer service, and a bit of pest-control science. What You'll Do Inspect residential and commercial properties to identify mosquito breeding sites (standing water, dense vegetation, drainage areas) Apply EPA-approved mosquito treatments (barrier sprays, larvicides, misting systems) safely and effectively Educate customers on reducing mosquito activity between treatments (removing standing water, yard maintenance tips) Maintain accurate service records, treatment logs, and route schedules Operate and maintain spray equipment, backpack sprayers, and company vehicle Follow all safety protocols for handling and applying pesticides Provide friendly, professional customer service on-site What You Bring Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and varying weather conditions Comfortable lifting/carrying equipment (up to 50 lbs) Strong customer service and communication skills High school diploma or equivalent; pest control experience a plus but not required Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on a route Physical Requirements Prolonged standing, walking, and bending.
