Our client, a well-established food production facility, is looking for a Pest Control Technician to join their team in Earlimart, CA . This role is key in ensuring the facility remains pest-free through proactive monitoring, sanitation, and collaboration with third-party pest control services.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of pest traps and monitor pest activity. Identify signs of pest infestation and take corrective actions, including perimeter spraying and fumigation. Maintain cleanliness of the facility interior, exterior, and waste areas to reduce pest attraction. Keep accurate records of pest control activities and housekeeping practices. Collaborate with external pest control services as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of pest control chemicals. Operate forklifts safely in high-traffic areas and assist in minor equipment troubleshooting. Support other operational tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 6 months experience operating forklifts or heavy machinery. Certification to operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. Ability to read and interpret written and oral instructions. Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment. Conversational Spanish is a plus. Capable of frequent physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing stairs/ladders, and extended periods of standing.

$17.00 - $18.00

Schedule:

AM shift, Monday through Friday with potential weekend shifts. Temp to hire opportunity
