Pest Control Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Valid Driver's License with good driving record. Proven pest control experience Branch 2 - Field Representative License (Required) Branch 2- Applicator License (Candidate will be required to take and pass Field Rep test within 45 days). The ability to work in all weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills. Detail-oriented. Ability to carry, use, and climb a ladder. Lift up to 50 lbs. Self motivated and ability to manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic pest prevention and control services in residences and commercial facilities. Applying suitable pesticides to infested areas by following the label instructions and complying with safety procedures. Inspect building structures for signs of insect damage, such as holes chewed in wood, and for signs of rodents, such as droppings and burrows. Identifying opportunities to sell additional company services and products. Hang door fliers and/or speak with new potential customers. Filling out all necessary paperwork upon completion of each job. Communicating with office staff to schedule services with customers. Safely travel between customer locations to complete services. Respond to homeowner requests for service.
