Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM About Us Advanced Aquatic Services, Inc. (AAS) is a family-owned and operated lake, pond, and wetland management company in our 35th year in business. We specialize in aquatic vegetation control, algae management, and water quality services throughout Florida using industry-leading products and technology. Position Overview We are currently hiring an Aquatic Technician to join our growing Apollo Beach team. This is a hands-on, outdoor field position ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, operating equipment, and maintaining Florida's lakes and waterways. This role is perfect for candidates with backgrounds in: Landscaping Pest control / applicator work Environmental services Field service or route-based work Outdoor labor Key Responsibilities Apply aquatic herbicides and algaecides in accordance with EPA and state regulations Identify and manage invasive aquatic plants and algae Operate and maintain spray equipment, boats, and service vehicles Perform routine inspections of lakes, ponds, and stormwater systems Maintain accurate service logs and reports Follow all safety procedures and company standards Requirements High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening Ability to lift and carry 60+ lbs regularly Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions year-round Preferred Qualifications (Not Required) Florida Commercial Applicator License - Aquatic Experience with herbicide application, landscaping, or pest control Boating or trailer experience No license?
