Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of residential, commercial, and outdoor areas to identify pest activity and entry points. Apply chemical agents safely and accurately using appropriate pest control methods, including pesticide management and chemical handling protocols. Operate ladders, power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, and other equipment to access hard-to-reach areas or perform treatment procedures. Follow strict safety protocols during pesticide application, confined space entry, ladder use, respiratory protection, and other safety procedures. Educate customers on pest prevention techniques and provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and concerns professionally. Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and pest activity reports in compliance with safety regulations. Support outdoor work activities such as lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture projects when needed to enhance property health. Experience Prior experience in pest control or related fields such as landscaping, farming, or outdoor maintenance is highly desirable. Knowledge of entomology principles related to pest identification and behavior. Familiarity with pesticide application knowledge including pesticide management and integrated pest management strategies. Comfort operating ladders safely following ladder safety procedures and confined space entry safety procedures. Mechanical aptitude for handling power tools, hand tools, farm machinery, or lawn equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about pest issues and solutions. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely; experience driving in various outdoor environments is a plus.
