You will be responsible for implementing pest control solutions, conducting habitat repairs, and adhering to strict safety protocols to deliver effective results and promote ecological balance. Responsibilities Perform habitat repairs and maintenance using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to restore homes damaged by Wildlife. Apply pest control chemicals safely and effectively, following pesticide management and integrated pest management (IPM) strategies. Conduct pest control chemical handling with strict adherence to safety protocols, including respiratory protection and confined space entry procedures when necessary. Use ladders safely for access to elevated areas, ensuring ladder safety procedures are followed at all times. Operate company vehicles responsibly while performing outdoor work across various terrains, including farms, landscapes, or conservation sites. Identify pest species through entomology knowledge and implement targeted pest control measures to mitigate infestations. Maintain detailed records of pesticide applications, habitat repairs, and safety inspections in compliance with environmental regulations. Engage with clients or community members by providing clear explanations of pest management practices and habitat restoration efforts. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, lawn care equipment, and farm machinery. Proven outdoor work experience in farming, landscaping, agriculture, or related fields that require physical stamina and adaptability. Knowledge of pesticide application techniques, chemical agent handling, and integrated pest management principles. Familiarity with ladder use and ladder safety procedures to access hard-to-reach areas safely. Understanding of confined space entry safety procedures and respiratory protection requirements during chemical handling. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively about pest control processes and habitat repair projects. Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly while adhering to all safety protocols during outdoor activities. Basic knowledge of entomology for accurate pest identification and targeted intervention strategies.
