Pest End Inc, a trusted local pest control company, is seeking an IPM Technician to serve the Revere/Chelsea/Malden, MA area. In this field-based role, you'll inspect homes and businesses, identify pest issues, and apply safe, effective treatments for insects, rodents, and wildlife. You'll educate customers on prevention, document services, and maintain equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities Perform residential and commercial inspections for insects, rodents, and wildlife in assigned territories Identify pest issues and recommend appropriate treatment plans following company protocols and safety guidelines Apply pesticides and other control methods safely and in compliance with state and federal regulations Communicate findings, treatment steps, and prevention tips clearly to customers on-site Document services performed, materials used, and pest activity using company systems Maintain company vehicle, equipment, and inventory in clean, safe, and operable condition Respond promptly to scheduled appointments, emergency calls, and follow-up visits Collaborate with team members and management to resolve complex pest issues and improve service quality Adhere to company safety standards, PPE requirements, and customer-first service practices Participate in ongoing training to maintain licenses and expand technical pest control knowledge Required Skills Pest identification and inspection techniques Safe pesticide handling and application Knowledge of IPM (Integrated Pest Management) practices Basic building and structural knowledge Use of sprayers, bait stations, and pest control tools Recordkeeping and service documentation Customer communication and education Time management and route planning Safety and PPE compliance Basic computer or mobile app proficiency
