About the Role Honorable Pest Control, a family-owned company serving Washtenaw County and surrounding areas, is looking for an experienced Wildlife Removal & Exclusion Technician. You'll handle the full range of nuisance wildlife — raccoons, squirrels, bats, birds, and more — humanely removing animals from homes and businesses, then sealing up entry points so they don't come back. This is a straight commission position: your earnings are tied directly to the jobs you complete, so strong performers are rewarded. Realistic earnings are $50,000-$100,000 per year, with no cap. What You'll Do Inspect homes and commercial buildings to identify wildlife activity, entry points, and damage Humanely trap and remove raccoons, squirrels, and other nuisance wildlife in compliance with state regulations Perform bat exclusions following state and federal guidelines, including seasonal restrictions for maternity colonies Remove birds and install deterrents such as netting, spikes, and vent guards Install exclusion materials like one-way devices, screening, flashing, and sealants Service rodent bait stations in compliance with product labels and Michigan pesticide regulations Work on ladders, roofs, and in attics and crawl spaces Clean and sanitize affected areas, including guano and droppings remediation Communicate clearly with customers, explain the work being done, and provide estimates Keep accurate job records as required under our DNR wildlife control permit Schedule Weekdays, with some weekend and emergency calls — wildlife doesn't keep office hours, and neither do the best techs. What We're Looking For 5+ years of hands-on experience in wildlife removal and exclusion work Working knowledge of the behavior and biology of common nuisance species (raccoons, squirrels, bats, birds) Familiarity with humane trapping methods and Michigan wildlife regulations MDARD pesticide applicator certification (Category 7A or 7D) a plus — we'll help the right candidate get registered and certified Comfort working at heights and in tight spaces (attics, crawl spaces) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50 lbs and carry ladders and equipment Strong customer service and communication skills Self-motivated — on commission, your hustle determines your paycheck What We Offer Straight commission with uncapped earning potential — realistic range of $50,000-$100,000/year A 2025 Ford Maverick company truck All tools and equipment provided — zero out-of-pocket overhead Paid time off Steady work with an established, family-owned company How to Apply Submit your resume through Indeed.
