Job Summary:

We offer comprehensive pest control solutions for all pests (residential and commercial). Our professional technicians are highly trained and experienced in identifying and eliminating pest problems quickly and effectively. This position is for a Pest Control Service Technician at Grand Lake. Candidate should live within a reasonable commute around the Grand Lake Area. Our Grand Lake headquarters is located in Langley, OK off of HWY 82 near the Reasors Foods and Sonic restaurant. The ideal candidate must posses a great work ethic with the ability to work on their own and in a team environment as well. Must be a self-starter and need minimal supervision on a day-to-day basis. The ability to communicate timely and effectively on the phone with customers and with ProGuard teammates is paramount. This is an entry to mid-level position based on your experience and work history. However, there is opportunity for advanced pay and work responsibilities. On average our techs have been with the company 3+ years or more. Responsibilities You will shadow and work with a seasoned technician until trained and you have completed the Service Technician exam with a passing score required by the State of Oklahoma. Running your scheduled route each day and arrival to appointments in a timely manner. Must be able to read labels for application and mixing of pesticides as outlined by State and Federal laws and regulations. The label is the law. Operation of company vehicle safely and maintaining cleanliness of vehicle and equipment at all times.

Requirements:

Proven experience in pest control management, turf maintenance or a related field. Ability to interpret technical labels and manuals. Have a track record of success in your past work history. Skilled in equipment maintenance and light repair work. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work outdoors in various weather climates without limitation. Must be able to lift 40-50lbs without limitation. Have good attitude, good work ethic and good communication skills (phone & in-person communications). Good with tools and light machinery. A desire to work on your own as well in a team environment. Must be able to pass the required Oklahoma Service Technician Exam within a given time period.
