About the Role Join a team responsible for maintaining a safe, pest-free environment across a high-profile federal training campus. This position involves integrated pest management on landscaped grounds, tree/shrub areas, and facilities. You will play a key role in protecting health, safety, and property while complying with federal standards. Key Responsibilities Inspect and monitor buildings, trees, shrubs, and landscaped areas for pest activity; document findings and recommend treatments. Apply chemical solutions, dust, traps, or fumigants in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Implement weed and pest control in beds and common areas using manual, mechanical, and selective herbicide methods approved by the COR/CO. Maintain accurate service and safety records, including OSHA Form 300 logs as required. Support emergency response for test-related issues 24/7 as needed. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations, including PPE, hazardous material handling, and accident reporting. Maintain required licenses and certifications; follow site security and access protocols. Qualifications State pest control license or ability to obtain (required). Prior pest control or ground maintenance experience, preferably in a commercial or government setting. Knowledge of IPM (integrated pest management), chemical safety, and regulatory compliance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; attention to detail in documentation. Candidate will be required to pass a federal background investigation and drug test.
