Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues and assess entry points. Apply pesticides, baiting systems, and other pest control agents safely and effectively following all safety protocols. Operate ladders, hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to access hard-to-reach areas or perform maintenance tasks. Follow strict chemical handling procedures, including proper use of respiratory protection and confined space entry safety procedures. Educate clients on pest prevention strategies, including landscaping, lawn care, and habitat modification techniques. Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, chemicals used, and customer interactions for compliance and reporting purposes. Adhere to all safety protocols related to pesticide application, chemical storage, vehicle operation, and outdoor work environments. Requirements Proven experience or interest in pest control, lawn care, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, or similar equipment. Knowledge of pesticide management, integrated pest management practices, and entomology fundamentals. Ability to safely operate company vehicles and use ladders safely following ladder safety procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods. Certification or training in pesticide application or chemical handling is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
