17285 Bandera Rd, Helotes, TX 78023 Job Description We are looking for an experienced Tree Climber / Arborist to join our growing tree service team. The ideal candidate is a skilled, safety-minded climber who takes pride in quality tree work and enjoys working outdoors. You will work as part of a crew performing tree trimming, pruning, removals, storm cleanup, and other tree-care services for residential and commercial customers. Responsibilities Safely climb trees using ropes, harnesses, and approved climbing equipment Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removals Safely operate chainsaws and other tree-care equipment Perform technical removals and rigging when required Identify and remove hazardous or dead branches Work from ropes, ladders, and aerial lift equipment as needed Communicate effectively with the ground crew Direct and assist Groundsmen with job-site operations Safely lower branches and sections of trees using proper rigging techniques Maintain climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment Follow company safety procedures and industry best practices Keep work areas clean and protect customer property Provide professional service and maintain a positive attitude with customers Qualifications Previous professional tree-climbing experience preferred Ability to safely climb and work at heights Experience with chainsaws and tree-care equipment Knowledge of proper pruning and tree-removal techniques Understanding of ropes, knots, rigging, and climbing systems Strong understanding of job-site safety Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work Able to work in hot, cold, and changing weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and dependable Ability to work effectively as part of a crew Valid driver's license required CDL is a plus ISA credentials or other arboriculture certifications are a plus What We Offer Competitive pay: starting at $ 20 /hour based on experience Opportunities for advancement Raises based on experience, skills, and performance Health insurance (50 % Medical, 100% Dental, Vision, and Life) Paid time off Why Join Our Team?
