We work on a variety of custom residential and commercial projects with a simple philosophy: Everyone Deserves to Live in Art. We are looking for an Architectural Project Lead to join our team—someone who is strong in Revit and construction documentation, enjoys solving problems, communicates well with clients, and wants the opportunity to take increasing ownership of projects. The Position At the heart of this position is the ability to take a design and develop it into a well-coordinated, buildable set of construction documents. You should be comfortable producing construction documents in Revit, with a solid understanding of construction and applicable building-code requirements. Just as important, you should have the initiative to take ownership of your work, communicate well with clients, coordinate with others, and follow issues through to resolution. Our clients are making a significant investment when they choose to work with us. We believe good architectural service means more than producing good drawings. It means communicating, following through, keeping clients informed, and showing them that we appreciate the opportunity to be part of their project. What You'll Do Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Develop projects and construction documents in Revit Work directly with the Principal Architect to carry design concepts through documentation Develop details and resolve construction issues Apply building codes and jurisdictional requirements to projects Coordinate information from structural engineers and other consultants Communicate directly with clients throughout project development Help clients understand the process and keep them informed of project progress Coordinate with contractors and respond to questions during construction Assist with permitting and jurisdictional comments Review your own work for accuracy, completeness, and coordination Work collaboratively with other members of the FORM team Take increasing ownership of projects as your abilities and experience grow What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who combines strong technical and production abilities with initiative and good communication skills.
A successful candidate will have:
Strong Revit skills Experience producing architectural construction documents A practical understanding of how buildings are constructed Working knowledge of building codes Good organizational and problem-solving skills The ability to communicate comfortably and professionally with clients The ability to coordinate with consultants and contractors Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work The initiative to recognize issues and work toward solutions A desire to take increasing responsibility for projects We value demonstrated ability, curiosity, initiative, and the desire to continue developing professionally. Where This Position Can Lead We see this position growing naturally with your abilities. Initially, the focus will be project production, with increasing responsibility for client communication, project coordination, construction, and more complex projects. As FORM continues to grow and take on larger and more complex work, we want this person to grow with us. Over time, this role has the opportunity to develop into a significant project leadership position within the firm. For someone who enjoys architecture, wants responsibility, and is interested in understanding the entire process of taking a project from an idea through construction, there is considerable room to grow here.
