Asphalt Operator T-E Incorporated | Fort Wayne, IN | Full-Time / Seasonal

With over 15,000 projects completed, we specialize in civil engineering, site development, asphalt paving, and utilities. We take pride in delivering the highest level of workmanship and quality — and we're looking for skilled operators to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY
We are hiring experienced Asphalt Operators to join our paving crew. You'll operate paving and compaction equipment on a variety of commercial, municipal, and industrial projects across the Fort Wayne area and beyond.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate asphalt pavers, steel drum and rubber tire rollers, and related equipment
- Place and compact hot mix asphalt on parking lots, roadways, and driveways to specification
- Perform asphalt patching, milling, and infrared repair work
- Read grade stakes and project plans to ensure accurate placement
- Coordinate with crew members to achieve a smooth, quality finished mat
- Perform pre/post equipment inspections and routine maintenance
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- 2+ years of experience operating asphalt paving equipment (paver, roller, or related)
- Valid Indiana driver's license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physical labor
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Preferred:
- Commercial or municipal paving experience
- Experience with milling or reclamation operations
OSHA 10/30
certification- ATSSA flagging certification
