Live anywhere in Eastern Massachusetts or Southern New Hampshire.
Want to work on projects closer to home within those regions.
Are willing to travel during the work week to project sites throughout Eastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire, including overnight assignments when required.
Depending on project location, company-paid lodging, travel reimbursement, and per diem may be available for qualifying assignments. Our Work Includes
Assist with placement, raking, leveling, and compaction of hot mix asphalt
Perform handwork around structures, curbing, catch basins, utility castings, and pavement joints
Support paving machine and roller operators
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sweeping, grading, and applying tack coat
Assist with layout, grade checking, and paving transitions
Set up traffic control devices and maintain safe work zones
Load, unload, organize, and maintain tools and equipment
Perform daily cleanup and equipment support
Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of asphalt paving or heavy construction experience preferred
Ability to perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
Reliable transportation
Valid driver's license required
OSHA 10 preferred Heavy Equipment Operator Responsibilities
Operate asphalt pavers, rollers, skid steers, compact track loaders, excavators, loaders, brooms and related equipment
Operate equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain proper grades and paving tolerances
Coordinate with paving crews
Complete daily inspections
Perform routine maintenance
Report mechanical issues promptly
Assist with mobilization and equipment setup Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of paving or heavy equipment operating experience
Massachusetts Hoisting License preferred
CDL is a plus
Strong safety record
Experience around active paving operations Paving Foreman / Supervisor Responsibilities
Lead daily paving operations
Supervise laborers, operators, truck drivers, and subcontractors
Coordinate manpower, trucking, materials, and equipment
Maintain production schedules
Review plans, quantities, and project requirements
Monitor pavement quality
Communicate with PMs, customers, inspectors, and municipalities
Complete daily reports
Enforce safety policies
Train and mentor crew members
Identify extra work and production issues Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of asphalt paving experience
Previous paving crew leadership
Municipal and commercial paving experience preferred
Ability to read plans and specifications
Basic computer skills
OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
Massachusetts Hoisting License preferred
CDL is a plus General Qualifications
Prior asphalt paving or heavy construction experience required
Ability to work safely around heavy equipment and active traffic
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Ability to work overtime, early mornings, nights, and weekends when required
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Team-oriented attitude

Typical Pay Range:
$25.00-$45.00+ per hour. Experienced operators and foremen with applicable licenses and supervisory experience may earn higher rates. Employees working on prevailing wage projects are paid according to the applicable prevailing wage schedule.
