As our Design-Build Division continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced construction professional who takes pride in quality workmanship and wants to build a long-term career with a company that's committed to excellence. Key Responsibilities Install paver patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, steps, and other masonry features. Assist with excavation, grading, drainage systems, and site preparation. Install residential asphalt driveways, aprons, and asphalt repairs. Operate construction equipment including skid steers, excavators, rollers, plate compactors, cut-off saws, and other equipment as needed. Perform asphalt raking, lute work, compaction, and finishing with attention to detail and quality. Safely load, unload, and transport equipment and materials. Maintain trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment in a clean, organized, and professional condition. Follow project plans while working efficiently with the crew to complete projects on schedule. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members. Represent Varello Landscaping professionally while interacting with homeowners and clients. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Minimum 3 years of masonry, hardscape, landscape construction, or asphalt paving experience. Experience installing pavers, retaining walls, or residential asphalt driveways preferred. Ability to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently. Strong work ethic with attention to detail and pride in producing quality work. Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team environment. Dependable, punctual, and motivated to grow with the company. Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus but not required). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
