Line Striping, Sealcoating & Paving Laborer Nye Line Striping & Sealcoating is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our growing team. We specialize in commercial and residential pavement maintenance, including line striping, sealcoating, crack filling, patch work, parking lot layouts, and pavement marking. This is a hands-on construction position with opportunities to learn specialized equipment and advance within the company. The right candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, shows up consistently, works well with a crew, and is willing to learn. Responsibilities Assist with commercial and residential parking lot line striping Assist with sealcoating and pavement preparation Perform crack filling and pavement maintenance Assist with asphalt patching and pothole repairs Clean and prepare pavement before applying materials Operate blowers, striping equipment, and other jobsite equipment after training Assist with parking lot layouts, restriping, ADA markings, arrows, stop bars, curbs, and other pavement markings Load, unload, clean, and maintain company equipment and vehicles Help set up and break down jobsites Follow jobsite safety procedures and properly use PPE Maintain a clean and organized work area Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete projects on schedule Perform other general construction and pavement-maintenance duties as needed Qualifications Construction, paving, painting, landscaping, or similar experience is a plus, but not required Valid driver's license preferred Must have reliable transportation to the jobsite Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working around pavement-maintenance equipment Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship What We Offer $20-$25 per hour, based on experience Opportunities for raises as skills and responsibilities increase Overtime opportunities during the busy season Hands-on training with professional pavement-maintenance equipment Opportunity to learn multiple aspects of the pavement-maintenance and construction industry Potential for advancement into equipment operator, crew leader, or foreman positions Work with a growing local company focused primarily on commercial projects About the Position This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a specialized construction trade rather than perform the same general labor every day. Pay:
