Position Overview:

The Laborer is responsible for the physical labor required to perform a variety of tasks on the jobs site. This jobs includes using rakes and shovels to distribute asphalt mixtures over street surfaces. Must be able to work extended hours, including Saturdays and occasional night work. Overtime is provided after 8 hours.

Responsibilities:

The Laborer will be responsible for the following: Load unload construction supplies on job site. Use rakes and shovels to move asphalt. Rakes, sweeps, rolls and inspect asphalt. Assist foreman in operating the paver if necessary

Required Skills:

The skills required for this position include: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, or confined environments. Must have strong hand-eye coordination and physical strength. Must have good communication skills (verbal & written). Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
