This position is ideal for someone with strong hydronic heating experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, values honesty and professionalism, and wants to work for a company focused on doing the job right.
The Boiler Installer will be responsible for installing boiler systems, completing mechanical room piping, performing equipment startups, and ensuring every installation meets manufacturer specifications and applicable codes.

Compensation and Benefits Overtime opportunities Company vehicle for qualified employees Healthcare coverage for employees and dependent live in family members Dental and vision insurance available at the employee's expense Paid time off 401(k) with a 4% employer match $500 revolving tool account Continuing education and manufacturer training Opportunities for advancement as the company continues to grow Responsibilities Install boiler systems according to manufacturer specifications and applicable codes Remove and replace existing boilers and related equipment Install and modify hydronic piping systems Install pumps, expansion tanks, air separators, mixing valves, backflow preventers, heat exchangers, zone valves, and related components Install copper, steel, and other approved piping materials Perform soldering, brazing, threading, grooving, pressing, and other piping connections Install gas piping, venting systems, combustion air, condensate piping, and boiler drains Complete mechanical room piping in a clean, organized, and professional manner Install and wire boiler controls, thermostats, pumps, relays, and low voltage accessories Fill, purge, and pressure test hydronic systems Perform boiler startups, combustion testing, and system commissioning Verify proper system operation, water flow, temperature, pressure, and control sequences Identify installation issues and communicate necessary changes to project management Read and interpret plans, specifications, mechanical drawings, and manufacturer instructions Coordinate daily work with project managers, customers, subcontractors, and other trades Maintain accurate job documentation, photographs, material lists, and equipment information Maintain a clean and safe work area Properly care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment Train and mentor apprentices and less experienced installers Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements Qualifications At least 5 years of boiler, hydronic heating, HVAC, or mechanical piping experience preferred Strong knowledge of boiler installation and hydronic system operation Experience installing boiler systems Ability to install and modify copper and steel piping systems Experience with pumps, controls, zoning, venting, gas piping, and related boiler accessories Ability to read mechanical plans and piping diagrams Familiarity with condensing and noncondensing boilers Ability to perform equipment startups and basic troubleshooting Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred Applicable trade licenses and manufacturer certifications are preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds Ability to work from ladders and in mechanical rooms, crawl spaces, rooftops, and other confined areas Ability to bend, kneel, climb, stand, and perform physical work for extended periods Ability to work safely in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
