Responsibilities:

Perform general carpentry, construction, repair, and maintenance work. Measure, cut, assemble, and install materials according to specifications. Read and accurately use a tape measure. Construct, repair, and install structures, framing, doors, trim, and other carpentry components. Use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Read and follow plans, drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Work safely on ladders, lifts, and other equipment as required. Perform work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Travel to local job sites as needed. Follow all company, customer, and military installation safety and security requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Previous carpentry or construction experience required. Must be able to read and accurately use a tape measure. Must provide and maintain your own basic hand tools, including, but not limited to: Hammer Screwdrivers Screw gun/drill Pliers Tape measure Utility knife Other basic carpentry hand tools Must be comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation required. Must be able to travel locally between job sites. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to safely lift, carry, and maneuver materials and equipment as required for the position. Must successfully complete a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen. For projects supporting federal contracts or work performed on military installations, must be able to satisfy all applicable federal background screening, security, credentialing, and installation-access requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience working on commercial, industrial, federal, or military projects. Experience with framing, drywall, trim, doors, concrete forms, or general building maintenance.
