In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across various residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that building structures, fixtures, and finishes meet precise specifications, safety standards, and client expectations. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform all aspects of carpentry general framing, siding, door hanging,windows, flooring installation, trim carpentry, and fixture installation with precision. Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently to produce high-quality components for various projects. Assist with construction estimating by assessing materials and labor requirements for upcoming jobs. Ensure adherence to power tool safety protocols while handling power tools for woodworking and construction tasks. Support heavy lifting activities and assist with remodeling efforts that require skilled carpentry techniques. Contribute to the interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings to ensure project accuracy. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety guidelines on the construction site. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction plans for residential projects. Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, levels, and measuring tapes. Comfortable operating power tools for woodworking including drills, saws, sanders, and nail guns. Strong background in carpentry disciplines such as framing, trim work, siding, door hanging, flooring installation, and fixture mounting. Knowledge of wood construction materials including lumber types, plywoods, veneers, and composite materials. Familiarity with woodworking machines like table saws, planers, routers, and sanders for precise fabrication. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety practices related to power tool use and heavy lifting. Ability to interpret technical drawings related to restoration industry projects such as mold remediation or stucco application. Hands-on experience with plastering techniques and rebar installation for structural support tasks. Knowledge of caulking techniques for sealing joints or gaps in siding or fixtures. Ability to perform remodeling tasks including flooring installation or fixture assembly with attention to detail.
